HOW TO GET INVOLVED IN THE GREAT AMERICAN CLEANUP

  • GET A GROUP TOGETHER and register to be part of the Great American Cleanup.

  • SET A DATE during the month of March or April to clean up a stretch of road, a riverbank, slough, or park

  • KALB WILL PROVIDE trash bags, gloves, and safety vests.

  • CHOOSE TO SORT out the recyclables from your trash as you pick it up if you wish.

  • USE THE GREAT AMERICAN CLEANUP as a way to instill a sense of community pride and responsibility in our children.  Bring them along!  Once a person gets close and personal with roadside litter, they are less apt to litter themselves.
