Management of the Recycling Center:

The A-L Recycling Center is a  multi-material buy-back center that is owned and operated by Keep Athens-Limestone Beautiful.  Center operations are overseen by the Athens-Limestone Recycling Board.  The Recycling Center manager handles day-to-day operations and supervision of center employees.  The Recycling Center works with the City of Athens in a cooperative effort to continue curbside recycling for city residents. All materials collected at curbside are processed at our center.  They also work with the Limestone County Commission in a cooperative effort to place and service recycling trailers throughout the county. The Recycling Center also services all city and county schools
