THE DERBY:
Specially-designed rubber racing ducks will be raced in heats (number dependent upon number of ducks adopted). The first few ducks in each heat (number dependent on prizes at race time) will move on to the Championship Race. Prizes will be awarded based on the order in which ducks move through the duck trap.

For a $5 donation to KALB, a racing duck will be placed in the derby in your name.

Ducks can either be adopted online (see below), at the KALB office at 125 East Street in Athens, or look for us at the 2023 Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention at Athens State University on October 6th and 7th. Duck adoptions will close at 1:00 p.m. on October 7th.
